Stentorian Interview
Stentorian, which means playing music loud is one of the most popular bands today. Formed in January 2001 the group has been here for a while now. A person who doesn’t know them at least know their famous track “Oddrisho Juddho” from Aguntok-2.Their another famous track would be “Bishonno Adhar featuring Sumon bhai (Aurhtohin) from Aguntok-3.The track is indeed a very popular one among the fans of the band. Stentorian has also dedicated a website for its fans named stentorianbd.com.
Here bracNet caught James (guitarist) on a weekend for an interview. James speaks about his band and conveys his greatest gratitude to all the fans.

Go back 3 years from now on, where were you people?
Stentorian: :
We were doing random concerts and also working on our own compositions.Infact our first composition was released that year in Aguntok-2(a mixed band album)

Why into music and not anything else?
Stentorian:
Not good at sports and basically influenced by our parents.
bracNet: :
How did the name Stentorian came up and what were the options?
Stentorian: :
It was during an Eid when all the members gathered at our vocal’s place when Bobby bhai (former drummer) came up with the name. There were no other options.

Just for the readers say about the members and what they are up to these days?
Stentorian:
Torsha (vocal): currently n Australia for higher studies, James (guitarist): studying in North South University, Shams (bassist): studying in North South university,Rafiul (drummer):studying in the university of Development Alternative, Tutul (guitarist): studying in the American International University and
finally Mashfiat (vocals):studying in Islamic University of Technology.

Were you satisfied on the solo concert of yours?
Stentorian:
The response from the crowd was awesome and that was the we were really satisfied with our efforts. It was really a different experience playing with guests Sumon bhai, Komol bhai and John.

Best composed song so far and why it is the best?
Stentorian:
Oddrisho Juddho from Aguntok-2(a mixed band album).We gave our 200% in composing the song and it is still the best.

Say about a time all the members would always like to cherish?
Stentorian:
Back in 2001 was the golden period we would all love to go back to.There wasn’t any pressure to perform .We were able to perform what we felt like.

Stentorian:
Enough practice is required. Do enough shows which would gain them experiences. Finally keep on polishing own compositions

Listening to music, hanging out with friends, creating new compositions watching movies and traveling.
