Raihan Shamsi, Chairman & CEO, DevoTech has joined the Board of BRACNet as an Independent Director in its 116th Board of Directors Meeting held on 12th February, 2020.
Mr. Shamsi is the former CEO of Accenture Bangladesh and also worked as Managing Director of ASEAN Region of Accenture till early 2018. Prior to that, Raihan was the Deputy CEO & CFO of Grameenphone when he led the largest IPO of the country in 2009.
Mr. Shamsi founder of the Institute of Internal Auditors in Bangladesh (IIAB) in 2004 which is part of a global platform of 150,000+ professional members worldwide engaged in improvement of corporate governance in 160 countries.
He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) with a Diploma in Management from the National University of Singapore.
Mr. Raihan has been instrumental in positioning Bangladesh as a promising destination for ICT and business process outsourcing since 2013. He believes that the next big transformation in Bangladesh will come from ICT industry.
